What do you mean by GNOME 3?
"GNOME Shell" probably won't work, but GNOME 3 with another shell might
work.

Maybe you could try and make an agreement with Ghent's multimedia shop Forcom?
I heard they sometimes have pc's they can't sell anymore because they are too
old, or maybe they have spare pc parts which they can give away for free so you
could assemble a working desktop yourself?

Hi all,
As all of you probably know, Canonical has more or less abandoned the
traditional Gnome desktop in favour of the Unity interface. Apparently, if
your graphics card does not support 3D acceleration, the interface falls
back to the traditional Gnome desktop. Since Unity is one of the main n
