during installation, i choose "french". The install goes fine. After
rebooting, KDM is in English, but the KDE session is in French (mostly).
If I manually put "Language=fr_FR" in /etc/kde3/kdm/kdmrc, KDM speaks

I've seen the Problem already exists. I have reinstalled Dapper on a PC
with Eizo S1910. The Probleme is here and is BIG! I have to install
Breezy before and then upgrade to dapper. Then in xorg i have to add

I'd rather say mplayer fails to disable DPMS feature, which suspends
monitor after 30 minutes (in your case). I have similar problem, Ubuntu
6.06.

this seems to be fixed for me with 0.95.0, which was uploaded to edgy
some seconds ago. feel free to reopen this bug if it still happens with
0.95.0 for you
