It now works for me with Jean Pierre Rupp's packages, on a Compaq
Presario V2610CA with Kubuntu Dapper, using a Broadcom BCM 4318 card
with ndiswrapper. Thanks a lot. Note however that it doesn't work with
the native bcm43xx kernel driver, stopping at "28% configuration of
peripheral".

configuration option like "SystemMenu=false" being used. Feel free to
reopen with /etc/gdm/gdm.conf and /etc/gdm/gdm-custom.conf attached
(feel free to replace private datas by random chars by example) if you
get the issue again
I followed up on the upstream bug with your comment, the upstream
developer seems determined to not implement it. I'm going to close this
bug too, as we're unlikely to divert and implement this on our own - if
you disagree strongly, you can reopen again, upstream preferrably.

What version of Ubuntu do you use? Could you get a backtrace with
libglib2.0-0-dbg libgnomevfs2-0-dbg and nautilus-dbg installed? That's
likely to be a libswfdec issue. Could you point to an example creating
the issue or attach a small one to the bug?

have some network activity when the bar reachs 100% or is the network
copy done and it's doing local work then? Is that specific to ftp?

No, havent seen any bugs.
Before it came to edgy Ive used my deb which was using libnspr/libnss from
Firefox 2 and it was working OK also.
Just wonder why we need to have additional nss/nspr library if it is already
installed with Firefox?
