I can confirm this for gnome-panel(-dbg) 2.16.1-0ubuntu3 and xmms-status-plugin
1.0.0-3. The distro is the release candidate of Edgy. The bugreport goes as
attached.
The bug seems to be related with the balloon popup. But that could just be a
side effect.

Sometimes, on resume from suspend, the ipw2200 driver outputs unusual
messages to dmesg, uses 100% CPU time, and doesn't associate to

could the problem be that there are two UUIDs for swap...one refers to

Update: Tried doing Ctrl+Alt+F6 when my screen went blank. Didn't work.

doing this, xchat stopped opening links in Firefox (maybe it has
something to do with the switch to Firefox 2.0?), and started opening
them in w3m, in a new terminal window.

I do have eclipse 3.2 running fine on edgy, but I had to download and

No click issues in other applications (Well, apart from a malfunctioning
middle-button, but that's not involved here and causes problems with
other OSs). A11y isn't enabled. No thin client setup, just a normal
desktop box.

Same here. Icon in the "about" dialog and menue is the correct Mozilla-
Firefox icon, but in the taskbar it's still the blue globe.
The funny thing: when you start Firefox, the icon during startprocess is
the right one in the taskbar. When Firefox is open, it's the blue globe.

Now it looks better. grub is still messed-up, but as soon as the kernel is

no, beagle probably uses gnome-vfs which uses inotify directly nowadays.
The default desktop doesn't require gam_server on edgy. Why do you need
it?

I'm not convinced there is a real win to do that. gtk2-engines moved
away of that modularisation because there is no real win to do that. I
don't think that having around 10 themes to the list of choices is that
confusing. What do other people think about it?
