Zoom, both which i've used. I'm on GNOME 2.16.1, Firefox 2.0 on a x86 (intel
system) and I see you have a x86 (AMD) system. What desktop environment and
version? I'd delete one, try to reproduce the bug, and report the bug to
found the problem with an extension.

It isn't really a big deal. I can live with it. But I thought perhaps
this bug might have a more serious manifestation, waiting for an
unfortunate user to fall into the rare coincidence that triggers it.

modprobe simply doesn't know about the path at that time. After a depmod
-a everything works again, so I guess some postinst is simply missing a
depmod call.

Sorry. My fault. I dunno where I get libglu1-mesa=6.5.1+cvs20060824
(probably custom installation when I had dapper). I've solved problem by
forcing installation of standard Ubuntu version.
