location: cp /usr/lib/dri/r300_dri.so /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/dri/
Now glxinfo shows direct rendering yes. Great! but... if I run glxgears CPU

Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnumeric
With the default ubuntu theme and fonts the gnumeric file open dialog
only shows 2.5 filenames in the selector (see screenshot). This is a
bit silly on a screen which has space to show ~50 lines of text.
I presume this is because it uses the de
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: akregator
When I go to certain webpages Akregator crashes. In this case it was
LWN.net. This is repeatable, but does not happen with every article in
LWN.net. The article that crashes Akregator on LWN.net is "Who wrote
2.6.20?".
Using Akregator v. 1.2
I already contacted Asus for support on this problem and i got in
response that my motherboard is not linux certified and so they won't
assure that a BIOS update will resolve my problem.
My current bios version is v0804 (2007/01/26).
