I took a look and it is the same problem. The difference: I find this

OK, here's an interesting experiment in three parts (on KDE 3.5.5):
- Unselect the automatically select icons -option, press apply, and close
the control module.
- Create a couple new files on the desktop. (This might not be necessary, but I
had none for the moment.)
- Re-open the mouse control
I can confirm this regarding gnat-gps-doc package.

I think I just found another buglet, I'll see if it's reported yet and if
not, report it. However, after a new login with the automatically select
icons already set, this happens:
- Parts 2 and 3 of the above are reproducible. (You have to click on the
desktop to take focus away from a window

I have feisty up-to-date. I've launched compiz, and it works, though I
have some problems with it (windows not showing their content, but
that's another issue).
But I'm running a laptop with an Intel GMA, with the i810 driver.
Can anybody else confirm this bug?

Kernel firmware was added some time ago, and scsi-firmware udeb created.
I've just uploaded the initramfs-tools changes to make sure the firmware
gets added to the initrd as well.

Why does the hal-device-manager depend on hwdb-client-gnome? After
collecting information about the system and submitting to the database,
the application hwdb-client-gnome and it's dependencies are no longer
needed, but I cannot remove this due to

The problem is that patents encumber the module you want. These same
patents keeps us from distributing this module, just the same as it
keeps the Linux Kernel proper from distributing it.
Unfortunately, patents are keeping you from having a working system out
of the box on Ubuntu.

Since the latest security update of the kernel (2.6.15-28) I'm not able
to run vmware-player under this kernel because vmware-player-kernel-
modules-2.6.15-28 is missing. The latest package available is vmware-
player-kernel-modules-2.6.15-27.

desktop switcher in gnome does not let you add or remove desktops with

BTW, my Bcm4306 rev3 (Inspiron 9100) works now after:
bcm-fwcutter -w /lib/firmware My_Manually_Retrieved_Firmware
Great!
I'm happy now, but updating the included shell script might a wishlist
bug for feisty+1 ?
The shellscript should still get V3, as some hardware only supports V3.
