I have done some coding and have fixed problem 1. Now adding and

Feisty's Kernel Panics With Netgear MA401 PCMCIA Wireless Installed
Well my lack of knowledge on the differences between +RW and +R keep me
from doing much more fact gathering on this.
loopback mounting and +RW work +R doesn't: That makes me think the ISO
genisoimage made _must_ be good, and growisofs must be having problems
with burning it.

I'm attaching an updated patch that applies cleanly against linux-
source-2.6.20_2.6.20-13.21.tar.gz. The original patch was created by
dhenry from the upstream report.
The updated patch should be applied inside the sound/pci/hda directory,
where only the patch_analog.c file is changed.
Just to
the patch for hal-system-lcd-set-brightness-linux is missing.
As a matter it's a bug in dash cf bug #92189

I have this setup:
thinkpad T60 with ubuntu-edgy dist-upgraded to today, 20070325
USB logitech 135 headset
/dev/dsp0 represents the laptop's speakers
/dev/dsp1 represents the headset speakers
First of all there have been issues when hot-plugging
It sounds like this is definitely a different bug from bug 36815 and
bug 95900 then.
For what it's worth, to make it stick you can:
1. manually reset the clock (if you have network access,
sudo /usr/sbin/ntpdate ntp.ubuntu.com is the most reliable way to
do it, assuming that it at least

I have thus confirmed it on nx7600, nx700, nx6320. You bring that to
nw8440.
However, I do know it isn't endemic to HPs as I have tested against
several HP laptops where this isn't an issue. Likely it's nx and nw
business series machines.
