Since there is no information whatsoever relating to the ...-ati -task
in this bug report, in the interest of bug database maintenance I am
going to mark that task as rejected. As mentioned, there are other
reports (also referenced here) on ATI cards, and tracking the possible
issue is probably

This is related to, but not I think the same as bug 36815, because
writing to the hardware clock before suspending does not fix it.
Scenario: computer has hardware clock set to local time.
1. Computer is suspended
2. Transition into or out
I can confirm this. Same with Feisty Beta AMD64. Did a fresh install,
dist-upgraded from chroot before rebooting. I then enabled the Nvidia
driver in Restricted Driver Manager. Reboot and then when gdm started no
picture. Monitor light blinking indicating no signal. Attached dmesg and
Xorg.log.

restricted drivers tool. But I does not work correctly.
The driver is installed now but not in use.

The most recent comment by Andrew Bennetts is actually an occurence of

As for everyone else: can you remember if your computer was shutdown, on
or suspended/hibernated at the actual moment of the daylight savings
transition? If it was suspended or hibernated, then your problem is bug
