I went into the usual System Settings, ready to trick out my KDE. Under
Appearance I went over to the Window Decorations section. From there
I went to the background sub-tab. I clicked on the Enable Transparency
radio box and clicked apply.

I have performed the upgrade to Feisty today and I think I have the same
problem as above.
Also, I am not sure whether this is related (sorry), but I cannot see
the options to change the CPU frequency scaling in the GUI dialog (see
screenshot attached). In my BIOS I have the `stepping'
I got the same problem with an nvidia card, i.e., logging out from a
second session makes the system crash. KDE just won't take any events
anymore.
I think there is connection to antoher bug, let me look up the number.

For me this problem only exists, if my default display manager is gdm.
So a workaround (not a solution) is to enable kdm as your dsplay manager.

I do confirm the Hamacker's issue: the best PT_BR dictionary for
brazillian guy is the one maintained by BROffice team. I hope that it be
the official dictionary in the next OO release.
