I had the exact same situation as valtech. I was deleting a large
number of images with gftp (1,500 or so), and got tired of gftp doing it
so slowly, so I sshed in and deleted the folder recursively. Gftp

I changed the file usr/share/X11/xkb/symbols/tj so that the AD09 key is
no longer dead, but produces cyrillic_shcha. The changed file is

Compiling latest alsa drivers from mercurial and ensuring bios is set to
default works for my talbet x61. An odd bug this driver has though, is
