The test setup was that I disabled external connectivity in my firewall
for the machine on which I tested this. It has LAN access, and can do
DNS queries, but cannot access the Internet otherwise. The installer got

On my hp dv6500t laptop, I have sound now with the backports-generic.
However, the light on the keyboard that would normally turn red if muted
does not - it stays blue. Also, pressing the mute button has no effect

Are you sure that's the correct feed url? I've added it, and view all
the items, and no error or crash...
Also, can you run liferea from gdb, and tell me where it's crashing? Launch
from a terminal

And when you get the crash,
I think a nice solution would be that if mp3gain tries to operate on a
directory, it should open that directory and operate on each file in
that directory (or an option to recurse subdirectories) and to ignore
empty directories. Some basic checking of input arguments should clear
this right up.

I'd like to chime in that I'm seeing a hard system crash when I switch
from X to tty1-6 on my Dell Precision M60 laptop with an nVidia Quadro
FX Go 7000 (restricted drivers). When the crash happens not even the
capslock key can be toggled and I have to power off completely.
