in /etc/sysctl.conf, and run sysctl -p?
To me, the bug looks like a mistype in default /etc/sysctl.conf (i.e.
wrong setting).
Say, here's the relevant section from Fedora 8:
# Controls IP packet
Ok I understand, it's a better choice to keep these informations
private.

Status:
The packager of python-twill removed the bundled clientform,
mechanized and pyparsing, prefering to use the Ubuntu-provided ones.
I haven't dug deeper to see which package needs to be upgraded so
python-twill's form parsing works.
Since twill does provide a bundled solution that works, lets
I am also experiencing this bug in kpdf and acroread, with a variety of
pdf documents on two printers connected to a box with a 64-bit install
of Kubuntu Gutsy. I don't seem to remember this problem occurring in
Feisty, but I could be wrong based on what I read on this page.

I confirm that I have the same no_root_squash behaviour. Mounting my
home this way granted access to kdesu. BUT, I don't think that this is a
fix. Using no_root_squash introduce serious security problems and I
don't want to mount my filesystems that way. Anyway, I didn't change nor
update my NFS
The way around the choppy video is to switch the video player to using
X11 video instead of XVideo. Apparently this is only a problem when
using compiz. X11 is somewhat lower quality in my experience, but it's a
usable workaround for now.

[gutsy] fglrx breaks over suspend/resume
I can confirm this regression in Gutsy. (Feisty-Gutsy upgrades anyway.)
The problem occurs consistently and is always reproducible.

I have exactly the same behaviour as wateenellende here.
Bug 155032 fix doesn't solve this issue, I'm don't think this is a
duplicate.
My /home is also through NFSv4. The problem appears after an upgrade
I thought I had bug 144722 today, but it turned out to be a NFS
permission problem. /home was exported without no_root_squash i.e.
root_squash was in effect. (I was also using NFS4, fyi) I believe that
this situation would prevent the sudo (or kdesudo) process from having
access to the root
Well, it seems like my problem was with the Gutsy live CD. For whatever
reason, my hardware didn't like Ubuntu or Kubuntu 7.1 or Suse 10.3 but
worked with Ubuntu 7.04 and Kubuntu 6.06.
I have a Dell Intel Core 2 Duo (4MB L2 Cache,2.4GHz,1066 FSB), 2GB Dual

lirc (it still translates some events to the terminal and applications).
Today i took the night to discover the reason. On my syslog i found
