I created a new user and I still can confirm this bug. To help you

I was initially waiting for 1.0 to be released, but now I'm tempted to
upload a svn snapshot to Debian and sync it in Ubuntu so if 1.0 is
released we can request a sync, since it won't need to be NEWed and it
will likely be accepted because of svn snapshot vs final release. I

Well the problem is, that the live DVD acquires the one MB free space
left after the Windows Recovery partition on the notebook as temporary
file space and mounts the preformatted swap partitions on both internal
hard drives seperately because kubuntu does not recognize the dmraid out
of the box.

Great, I look forward to try the 2.3 version.
I have a second box with a debian and the same gnotime version and I could
reproduce the prob with that one. Unfortunately I can't try 2.2.3-2 but the
bug is indeed most likely in the component you refer, I believe.

Are you by any chance using OSS?, i couldn't reproduce this behavior, I'm able
to reproduce sound file with totem at the same time i use rhythmbox or when
pausing it, so could be a sound system related issue.
could you please provide as an attachment, the output of the following

my fix that is above works execlent so its just missing its build in the

I removed the package from the bug (it worked...), since I don't even
have that package installed. I didn't notice it being uninstalled (and I
check what happens on every update), so previously the keys worked
without it.
