i also have the same problem,
pitivi crashes if i:
1. attempt to drag something from the clips box to the timeline
2. attempt to play a video file (any format) from the clips box
(right click on the file and choose play)

more or less immediately on resume from suspend, but it fails in

I am seeing this effect when I attempt to open GIMP xcf files from the
Recent Documents menu.
A dialog pops up and states Could not open recently used document
file:///home/me/Picutures/file name.xcf
Such files open OK if opened from Nautilus or the application itself.
