Argh, who thought this would be a good idea? It prevents the laptop
from suspending when the lid is closed! If the sound is muted, that
means you won't even notice == overheated components and lost laptop
lifetime.
This should at least be configurable.

How were your LVs created? Do your LVs have UUIDs associated with them?
One way to check this is to look in /dev/disk/by-uuid and see whether or
not they are listed there.

I also confirm the same on two computers. When using Human List as the
GDM login theme, the login screen never appears and the mouse keep
waiting for the theme to show. All I have is a beige empty screen. Since
this bug can cause people to lose access to their computer, I set status
to High.

I have the same problem when trying to play more recent Flash games. The
game loads but then hangs (the game window goes grey) and this error is
reported in the error console of Firefox:
Error: uncaught exception: Permission denied to call method
Location.toString
Is there any way to solve this
Is this still an issue with gutsy, or hardy?

I think that it is a good idea. If I am playing music with the lid
closed, I am usually listening to the music and do not want the
computer to suspend due to inactivity.
If the laptop is low on battery, it will of course still suspend.

but the original issue is probably fixed. We've implemented a new
Screen Resolution tool since the last comment, which includes xrandr-
based per-user resolution setting that I *think* will address the crux
of the issue here.
