Thanks for the feedback. Sorry I still had some glitches in the scripts that
convert the driver. I just put an updated version of the external driver to
http://people.ubuntu.com/~smb/rt2x00-test/ which removes the double prefix
issues and hopefully also fixes the uninitialized pid

Same happened with me.
I thinks that it is very important to solve this bug, because this is the first
impression of Ubuntu that the Hebrew users see in Ubuntu, and we don't want
them to think that this system has a lot of bugs because it has a simple
problem in showing Hebrew text in the right
