unmounting the .gvfs folder.

Hibernation seems to not work at all, the machine stays on, along with
the screen's light, and then after a few seconds, the fan starts revving
up till it hits full speed, CPU seems to get *really* hot. The screen
is blank, though, and the machine does not seem to respond to any
keyboard or mouse

apparently this is caused by ALSA. I changed my 'asym' device definition in
/etc/asound.conf and now it works.
Somehow twinkle did not detect a sound device problem but crashed instead..

I just installed the RC on a D630 this morning. cat /proc/cpuinfo is
reflecting that the MHZ is at 800 when idle. Cpu freq monitor from gnome
confirms as much.
All files in /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpuX/cpufreq are available, and
ondemand is loaded and working.

I have the same issue. I can receive files sent from my computer to my
phone, but I can't send files from my phone to my computer. Nokia E51.
However, I can browse my phone from my computer using Nautilus.

I had same bug.
It is fixed in sshfs 1.9 .
When I was testing with sshfs 1.9, copying dir with 15.000 files in subdirs,
and find . it, it was fine for hours.
As soon as I switched back to stock sshfs 1.7, after 3 minutes the copy failed,
and I got:

It works fine now (even on sshfs 1.7)

hardcoded to /usr/share/pixmaps/tsclient/tsclient.png. The problem with

Binary package hint: bash-completion
Because of I can't use /some path or /some\ path in fstab, I write
some\040path as mount point.
I write mount /some in bash and press Tab, I see mount /some\\040path
instead of mount /some\ path

I am also seeing this bug. It does not appear to be a kernel issue, but an
issue with f-spot. I can import photos using gtkam.

Okay but the comment said /etc/init.d hal stop.
But that won't be enough since it will be reloaded on reboot.
I will than have to remove hal completely from the runlevel.
So that's why I asked :-)

Just wanted to confirm that this is some sort of regression from Gutsy,
and it has still not been resolved in the Hardy RC.
I'm attaching output from uname, lspci and dmesg from within a Gutsy
live cd (which boots without modification).

Update: same issue in Fedora 8 (PCI: Cannot allocate resource region 3
of device :05:00.0 (video card)), Nvidia drivers fail to load.
I also get the same memory error in openSUSE 10.3 *BUT* the proprietary
Nvidia drivers load regardless.
One thing I noticed different with openSUSE, is that

The original complaint about '$ completing environment variables is valid IMO

I think what we really want to see is conformity with other *ix - type
