No I don't have that plugin installed, I installed free one, I forgot
what was its name, it comes on the top when Firefox searches for the

Binary package hint: pidgin
Minimised pidgin window in task bar doesn't flash when a new IM is
recieved.
This is very irritating as we cannot respond to IMs quickly.

We are closing this bug since it is about an unsupported version of
Ubuntu. Edgy went out of support on April 25th, 2008. If this bug is
still an issue in the currently supported Ubuntu releases, please

The previous poster has not needed to respond to this bug, but it is
still an issue.
This bug doesn't reference the error messages that you receive during
the problem, so most people searching for a solution won't find this.
Unable to open master device '/dev/zap/ctl' is the text of the actual
one thing to try would be if the issue is specific to nautilus-cd-burner
or if using cdrecord on a command has the same issue

Same for me. I find that if I press and hold the right mouse button, the
menu comes up fine, but if I give it a single click it sometimes comes
up OK, other times it performs a random task from the menu as noted
above.

No, it's still not working with neither Ekiga nor Cheese, but does work
with Kopete.
In Ekiga, I get this error message:
