StumpWM doesn't technically need sbcl. It needs an implementation of
Common Lisp, and CLX (the Common Lisp X interface, basically Xlib for
Common Lisp).

Under no circumstances this can be a bug in foomatic-db. foomatic-db

Same issue here. Unbelievable that the Ubuntu team would push out Hardy
before fixing this kind of issue. What a nightmare for an average user!
The old kernel (2.6.22) worked fine. After turning off the quiet and
splash kernel options, the 2.6.24 kernel produces error messages like:

Hardy-proposed released openoffice 1:2.4.1~rc1 today and did not upgrade the

It worked! I think I know what may have happened. When typing this
line, sudo ln -s ../../kernel/sound/ alsa-driver, I didn't put a space
between sound/ and alsa-driver. I did it a second time, but I caught it
and redid the same command with the space, then I got a result. I did
it both ways

I would report the same problem that Brian had describe above. I'm running
ubuntu 8.04 kernel 2.6.24-17-386 on the HP dv6163ea and the system can't find
the integrated webcam (model 05ca:1870).
I installed Arakne drivers but when i use the cam in skype the colours are
completely wrong (the

calibration.

I've got 2.22.2 from hardy-proposed running right now, and the problem
still exists. Username disappears after entering it, and it only syncs
from google to evolution instead of both ways.

What did i do when it happened?:
1. Drag file 1.png from nautilus to gimp to open it
2. Drag file 2.png from nautilus to gimp to open it
3. Copypaste content of file 2.png to file 1.png and save
I have the same problem, but the problem disappears if noapic kernel
options is used on host-system.
This may have something to do with 0x80 delay port, because my hardware
suffered from the #200057 bug.

It still happens on occasion under Hardy, but I'm pretty sure this is a
hardware issue that happens when CPU usage spikes. It became less
frequent when I realized that overclocking was on and turned it off.
