The problem you were seeing could just be a problem with ZynAddSubFX
which doesn't really work that well with jack. It's jack connection
pretty often get's "zombified" and it just doesn't produce any sound
anymore. Of course in that case triggering notes using Zyn's own virtual
keyboard also fails

I can confirm the bug even on kernel vanilla > 2.6.25
U can normally transfer files from devices to the system (and viceversa)
without X and everythink works great
With X running (and nvidia card) after few seconds the system got freeze with
no I/O log .

The window started working normally again once I removed the RSS reader
plug-in. As a software engineer, my guess it that the bug is caused by
the inability to display the RSS tab's controls (regardless if it's the

I have not been able to burn dvd's since the upgrade to hardy. I have
two ubuntu machines both of which burned dvd's before the upgrade
without any troubles.

Under no circumstances this can be a bug in foomatic-db. foomatic-db
does not describe or otherwise influence the use of character sets and

Ummm. Embarrassingly, I failed to notice the truncated size of the
file: 4294967295 bytes, or 2**32-1.
This is saving the tar file to a FAT formatted usb drive, whose maximum
file size is the above number.
Solution: just split the file into smaller chunks, or reformat the external

At my college (Cal Poly, SLO), all the wireless access points use the
same SSID, but each is on a different subnet. When I roam from one

I confirm this bug. I've experienced the crashes several (5 times) when
double-clicking on an mp3 in Xubuntu Hardy. Totem opens and the complete

Binary package hint: nagios2
The init script for nagios kills nagios when the user requests the
configuration to be reloaded. Nagios logs that it has received a SIGTERM
rather than the expected SIGHUP.

I think that's a bad design of Web Page becaus if you disable the CSS
Browser default styles using Web Developer you can view the page
correctly

This is a control for wxwidgets.
It is difficult to install because it needs a patched SWIG for wxpython
use. There are other issues as well.
For developers it would be extremely nice to have this packaged in
Ubuntu.

distributions so earlier in the cycle if you don't know how to use the
package system and want to have something stable and not changing. the
