removed the extra patch and made sure I had no duplicates, but when I

Everything was working fine on Gutsy.
Upgraded to Hardy and now the wireless network will not connect after booting
up. However, manually running:
sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart
...restores the connection.

I have exactly the same problem on Hardy and also had it on the last
version of Ubuntu.
I'm using a Plantronics M3000 Bluetooth headset and when I searched on
Google, I found some others with my headset, having the same problem.
My Bluetooth dongle is unbranded, but works fine with my Nokia N70
p
It seems that it was just missing the firmware for the device, however
it ISN'T in the repositories...

I think this bug and https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-
restricted-modules-2.6.24/+bug/224404 might be the same (however this
one is related to the mtrr issue with a fglrx driver). However, if one
use the desktop kernel from ubuntu and memory mapping enabled combined
with an ATi card
any news about the "6 4bit" version of Hardy? I can't find the 2.6.24-12
64 bit image so i can't extract anything... please let me know something
about it :(

I tried a lot of things with /etc/default/acpi-support settings.
I also found out that there were 2 sony modules loaded (sonypi and
sony_laptop). I tried each of them seperately but no success.
Nothing worked for me until now.
Is there a standby/resume log file or something like that?

Yeah, I tried to enter in boot safe mode, but no luck. the system just
freezes where it says something about the DVD/CD drives.
Do you need any file contents?

So here is a video - I tried to run/turn around while scrolling up/down
with mouse scroll. In the mid part scrolling up/down in console and in
the last 30 seconds pressed Q followed by TAB and many times Enter key
until it finally quitted the game.

I cannot provide logs for Hardy, but I have tested and there is no
difference from Gutsy. Exact same behaviour.
