video-module fixed everything, and since the hal-info-update, I tried
unblacklisting video again.
Reboot proved brightness control was still working for me.

I just figured out why it does this today. You are supposed to enter the
name of the folder you want the drive to be mounted in under /media, not
the entire directory path itself. For example, if I want my thumb drive
to have the mount point /media/thumb, I enter just "thumb" in the mount

I'm still getting this too. Files below. The AMD760 chipset is about 7
years old now, so people will be probably upgrading from these relative
old dual-cpu machines - although I love mine and wont need to upgrade
for several years more!

There are 2 workaround for that:
1 - use the shortcut to select the location bar instead of the mouse (eg ctrl+L
on firefox, not sure about your own browser) and hit delete then middle click.
only mouse select copy to primary so this works.
2- copy the URL to clipboard instead of primary, and use
I guess it is a driver problem if the refresh rate isn't shown.
Please attach the file /var/log/Xorg.0.log, when your TV was connected
on boot.

Hi,
I tried the PPA packages and I now got the Online actions and can start
the aqbanking wizard. Unfortunately, it doesn't work so far - it says
Timeout instantly. Guess this is a bug in the timeout settings? Do you
know, if I can change this somewhere?

This causes a SEVERE regression for me.
Every Gnome "open" dialog hangs for about two minutes now before displaying
anything. This also affects the Gnome main menu and the "Applications Places
System" menu. Trying to open it for the first time freezes *all* panels,
including the window list.

These don't need to be applied to the Intrepid packages, as upstream
will release 3.5.0 next week and it'll be in time to sync it to Debian
then Ubuntu.
