well, François, the confusion I think, comes from the very title of this

smartcard reader. but. for sure. I never used and do not see any BANK

Problem solved. The partition which contained root ran short of drive
space. Freed some up, and everything works as it should.
Maybe some kind of warning check for that might be an idea.

I just made a way to make it work.
The problem is that PolicyKit verify if you are on a valid/local/active
ConsoleKit session.
To correct the problem follow this steps:
- Copy nx-session-launcher and nx-session-launcher-suid to /usr/bin
- Execute $ chown nx /usr/bin/nx-session-launcher-suid
- E
All of these changes are pulled from 2.2.5 (with lots of version change
hunks removed). All touched functionality seems to work, but I was
unable to devise an exploit for CVE-2008-2723. The rest of the fixes
definitely work.

1. Since the NVIDIA driver is a kernel module it has to be rebuild for
each kernel which should use the driver.

Hello Michael,
When i tried to remove xubuntu-desktop, there is an error :
$ sudo apt-get remove xubuntu-desktop

I wrote too quickly about Xorg being repaired. It is not quite. When I
reboot, it fails, and I have to log in a root console and start X with
gdm(1). Then it comes up okay, modulo an unexpected dialog or two. I
can't quite imagine what's different between the normal bootup and gdm
run by root.
