I'd say this bug is likely a duplicate of bug #242966. To be sure that things
get completely fixed however, I suggest the following steps:
1. Go to a terminal, and kill pulseaudio, making sure no other audio

increases and hence gets hot. Some solution would be to use a firefox

I'm a bit surprised that noone else seems to be considering how to *fix*
this problem. All I'm hearing are work-arounds for users, which is not
really adequate.

alsa-info.sh (I don't know how to run a shell script)
I tried $ ./alsa-info.sh --no-upload

hide this icons easy but not so to show them again so it would be

after having had this problem I installed my system using the alternate cd.
now I have downloaded the 8.04.1 / 64bit CD and this boots without the
mentioned problem
into the installer.
please close this bug report.
