On a current intrepid setup, installing openjdk-6-jre-headless pulls in
several packages that might not be suitable for a server setup : avahi-
daemon, dbus, consolekit, dbus-x11...
They are pulled in through the libnss-mdns Recommends, as well as 24 other

I've installed Kubuntu Intrepid Alpha 4 and I'm experiencing that a lot
of keys doesn't work as they should.
Examples:
Arrow-keys: Doesn't seem to do anything
AltGr: Works as enter in konsole
delete,insert,home,end: doesn't seem to do

Another year and this bug is still here in Hardy.
The phpmyadmin package does this.
I don't understand why phppgadmin doesn't.

Bingo! Downgrading the package libqt3-mt from version
3:3.3.8-b-0ubuntu3 to 3:3.3.8really3.3.7-0ubuntu11 restores the
correct behaviour of showimg (even though it might break something
else...).
Tested on Kubuntu Hardy (KDE 3.5.10) i386 up to date.

I just wanted to add that it's not just the l-b-m package, but the iwl
drivers from the compat-wireless project too... Have we identified
whether this is a kernel issue or a backports-modules problem?

linux-backports-modules-2.6.24-21-generic causes kernel panic when unloading
Intel Wireless
Same here with Hardy, Gnome 2.22.2 and OOo 2.4. Copying to OOo works
well, but from OOo is not. Sometimes one char gets copied, if you're
lucky you get three or four chars copied. Very annoying indeed.

I upgraded to kde-3.5.10 in Hardy, and then rebooted.
After that, the system tray shows the visible icons correctly, but the button
(the small triangle) that allows to see the hidden icons disappeared. It is
still clickable, just not shown.
