I've got an TV card from TBS with a Conexant chipset, it is shipped with

I've repeated the procedure on the x86 version of Intrepid Alpha6 and
here the plugin outputs sound as it should. So I'd say it is definitely
an issue with the 32bit plugin running on an 64bit system.
I don't know if this problem pops up on other 64bit pc's, so *some* specs would
be handy:

Using jockey-gtk 0.5~alpha1-0ubuntu2.
After upgrading from hardy to intrepid, the nvidia drivers were
disabled.
Enabling them via jockey's GTK interface did nothing.
Enabling via console also did nothing, and did not print any errors:

I first had Hardy installed with the flash 10 package from Intrepid.
Yesterday I decided to try the Alpha 5 release.
With Hardy I had no problems with flash. Now in Intrepid firefox keeps
crashing randomly while spitting out errors like this:

I do have to say that I was using 8.10 Intrepid when firefox kept
crashing whenever i viewed a flash video.I had to go back to 8.04 Hardy
for the moment.

Ok so I just did a test another test build on an i386 virtual machine,
and it is looking like a 64 bit issue since I had no problems building
on 32 bit
