I've marked the #405 as duplicate of the #388 on the remote bugtracker,
because it IS the same bug.

When the G15 keyboard was moved from the KVM to the computer directly, I
could remove and install the g15daemon. Bug solved (though I'd say
there should never be a program that half installs and can't be
removed).

I suggest one of the two bugs be marked as duplicate of the other, and
the same about the upstream bugs… 2 ways of hitting the same bugs… IS

I get this too, I have a Gateway but I do not get any strange symptoms
as a result, only that I have wireless performance issues. I have no
idea if it's related or not.
Seems to be an ongoing issue, particularly with a number of Acer
notebooks, at least according to several kernel mailing lists.
In intrepid there's libopenal1, libopenal0a isn't available for
intrepid.
I suppose that repository contains packages made for hardy, try to

Hrm. An uninstall/install minus evolution-jescs seems to have repaired
it. Well that problem anyway. More bugs to come soon.

It's been a while. I don't remember the details, but I couldn't figure
it out. I have since done a complete reinstall because there were other
problems with the upgrade as well.
