I have the same issue.
I usually have the "Switzerland German, eliminate dead keys"-Layout but
ever since I have enabled automatic logon the Layout seems to revert to
"German" although no change is visible in the keyboard settings
dialogue.

i guess your log snippet starts with a disconnect event? Anyway, if you
get carrier OFF regularly, this either is a driver issue or maybe even a
physical one (e.g. bad cable).

Hi,
Is there a transition plan for the sugar-activities package?
The new package depends on python-dev instead of python-all-dev
like the old package, is this correct?
I'd also question calling it a window manager when it depends on
matchbox, but that's more something to report to Debian.

Fixed! The odd behavior I was getting when I kept trying to scroll was
because my finger would occasionally register at a point on the pad that
was close enough to the "right edge" to be considered a scroll. Let me
explain:

Dapper has been sucessfully installed before, and work as a production's
backend, so I think this may be just some env variable missing or system
config file missing. On the other hand, it may due to the debconf
developing team has changed in the last two years??? Anybody knows the
answer, please

When clicking on a rar file, file-roller should ask if you want to
install unrar from multiverse. If you install unrar first, file-roller
unpacks the file perfectly.

i want to share more info
if i log into msn from pidgin - when the empathy client tries to log in
- it logs pidgin out..
so it must somehow establish a connection with the msn servers but then
some problem start up..
just hope it helps,

Although I use Gentoo (and not Ubuntu), I can confirm this bug too. The
version of sudo I'm using:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~ $ sudo -V
Sudo version 1.6.9p16

Running latest 8.10 beta with updates up to Oct 6 and gnome-system-
terminal crashes every time I click on File Systems tab as myself, but
works if running as root. The problem is exactly the same as this bug
report. I've had this problem since alpha 4 release (but it might have
been there even bef
