This is due to changes in the scsi subsystem. I was able tor reproduce
this error on my machine. The new version fixes this error (0.21) and
its made for kernels 2.6.24+.

After some testing, and trying updated clutter packages I'm not
comfortable putting an SVN snapshot in to Intrepid at this point.
Apologies to anyone that wants to use pyclutter on Intrepid, but
you will have to build the 0.8 release yourself when it happens. We

Yeah, sure. The problem seems to be very sporadic.
I installed alltray. From there I went into Thunderbird's launcher (on my gnome
panel) and added the lines alltray -stask thunderbird to the COMMAND line.

I use the proprietary Nvidia driver and I'm having similar problems.
Qt4-assistant, qt4-linguist and qt4-designer as well as qtdemo all show
the same behaviour: memory use increases non stop and CPU usage goes all
the way up.

I can reproduce this bug in Xubuntu Hardy 8.04.01 with all updates. Open Xemacs
in a terminal, hit maximize.
The tab bar immediately starts flashing, and only stops when I hit the Maximize

I have to take back, that my system works after increasing the voltage
as stated in post 346.
The problem reappeared on my system (no hardware changes, no usb setup
changes) first in Intrepid Beta ( using the latest [final?] 2.6.27
kernel ) and soon after on my actual Hardy system.
So I am at

In the folder .gvfs appears the folder share auf i-drive after clicking on
refresh( and waiting for 15 seconds)!

junior, the e1000e problem was due to the module writing to part of the
EEPROM that it should not have been touching. The iwlagn module is fully
open sourced and has been for a few kernel versions now allowing for a
lot of eyes to look for any bugs. I hesitate to say there is 0 risk with
bleeding
