Confirming Amarok upgrade issue during Hardy => Intrepid dist-upgrade. I

I think there mite be a memory leak 'cause something takes up more and
more memory until it spills over into swap file and everything slows

When I plugin my USB external hard drive, it will not be auto-mounted.
Symptoms:
1) `dmesg | tail -f` shows the following:

Okay, I have a partial patch for this problem. You need to download the
source code and change a line of code. I say a partial patch because you
need to recompile and install any time you want to change the default
PIN code.
In the source code, change the line near the bottom in /wizard/main.c

I just freshly installed Intrepid on my desktop and had the same error,
even after updating to the latest kernel and packages.
I followed the instructions from Eric Julien (

Thanks for asking and sorry for the missing information.
I no longer run (k)ubuntu on that notebook so I can't tell. Just to
answer your question, when I reported the "bug" I was running the
latest updated packages on the latest kubuntu version at the time -
whatever version that was.
