No change one and a half years later, except that the error message has
been shortened towards

This refers to Ubuntu 8.10 64-Bit and Evolution 2.24.1. Note that on

choosing "Global Address Book"
works for me too, q45+intel here too. brightness control via function

[f-spot] Crash when opening f-spot preferences window

Yo
Beyond NetworkManager, I've tried getting it to run through GnomePPP,
KPPP (according specifically to the directions given by Sierra
Wireless), and just by calling on the the specific device in a terminal
using pppd directly. No luck, really. I'm at a total loss as to what to
do, or even try next.

Hello guys! I recently bought a HP Pavilion dv7 1070, and I face the
same problem with sound!
Sorry for the stupid question (I am quite new to linux...), but... where
exactly do I have to put the "options snd-hda-intel enable_msi=1"??? Do
I have to edit "/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base"?
Thanks a lot!!
I have a similar issue with intrepid while running the upcoming KDE 4.2
release (building from KDE's subversion). If i let the machine sit idle,
then X pegs my cpu at 100% but doesn't cause a freeze. Once I move the
mouse, the cpu usage goes back down. I've attached the only backtrace
that shows up
James,
Ok, I understand. I agree and will wait for Debian to include this, then
sync it.
Thanks,
David

Yes, that seems like a bad bug.
We also need to document exactly what date format is expected and show a
reminder of it in the UI, and maybe allow the user to select a date
format when importing.

Having the same issue in Hardy just like everyone else. I've tried
several diffrent things to get it to work with no luck. I'm trying this
on a fresh install of Hardy, with no changes made to anything. I've
then installed the program...no problem. As soon as launch sabayon I

I have the same issue on Dell Inspirion 1525 + Intrepid.
In addition I have similar problem with volume up/down hot keys - sometimes it
jumps over 2-3 or even 4 steps. Is this related somehow?
Everything worked fine on Hardy.
