When connecting using IMAP to my MDaemon server, I get two identical

I justed reproduced the segmentation fault, using the config files in the
attachment.
Using these attached config's, I get the seg fault when trying 'sudo -s' from a
normal (non-root) shell.

Latest Pulsaudio updates are closer. After suspend I only need to run '
pasuspender echo' to restore my sound, even in Firefox, which had
required a closedown and restart to work.

In Tomcat 5.5 the default database connection pool factory class is
'org.apache.commons.dbcp.BasicDataSourceFactory', included in commons-
dbcp.jar. So, the applications that didn't specify the dbcp factory
class (the great majority, I guess) worked with no problems using tomcat
5.5 without

I concur, adding localhost to the ::1 line of /etc/hosts resolved the
problem on my two machines.
Bug 295136 should probably not be marked a duplicate of bug 274995.

Do you have any powerpc machine around where you can check if the
problem is present on 2.5.25 or greater kernel versions. It is possible
that it is fixed for 386 but not for powerpc.

Nearly got it all compiled using the standard Intrepid components but I have
now come unstuck with the error:
Same problem here with ubuntu 8.10 both 32 and 64 bits. sound is intel
alc888 on an msi 1223 laptop (pr201). I can hear myself talking to the
microphone, but no program will record it. Tested with ekiga, gnome
sound recorder and skype.
