to change wireless regulatory domains from the discovered or default

I am using Ubuntu 8.10 on my FSC Lifebook E with NVidia Card (and proprietary
driver) in a DockingStation since a while without encountering any problems:
Two days ago, the usb-keyboard connected to the docking station didn´t
capture all pressed keys anymore,
What seems to help:
Switch to console (alt-strg-f1). There the problem doesn´t exist, so i think it
ist xorg related.
After switching back to Xorg (strg-alt-f7) the problem is away... (since now,
20min...)

I'm on a laptop and in the earlier versions of ubuntu it automatically

I can confirm this issue on my MSI Wind U100. The touchpad does not work
at all.
