I can confirm the same problem. My webcam is the Logitech Quickcam pro
9000, works perfectly in Cheese webcam booth but have the 'capture
extension not loaded' problem in aMSN, thus unable to use the webcam.

I just upgraded to hydrid jaunty/intrepid from intrepid. I did upgrade kernel,
xserver and mesa which included some libs. After upgrade avahi isn't
discoverable in my lan.

I did little research and found that taking screenshoot is crashing
Vinagre when Scaling option is ON.
I have:
- Ubuntu 8.10 with all security updates
- Powerbook G4 12" with Leopard 10.5.6. Screen sharing is ON with password
- local network through wireless router D-Link DI-524
According to synaptic my version of pulseaudio is the latest
(0.9.10-2ubuntu9.3).
I don't believe I have made any modifications, but I will attach them.

Today I updated jaunty with the latest and greatest updates. And I tried to
hibernate und suspend this notebook.
Hibernate works fine, suspend works except the white screen. The screen doesn't
turn off with suspend. It's stays bright white.

HP released the new HPLIP 3.9.2 one day after the Feature Freeze for
Ubuntu Jaunty. Main changes are that now the UI is exclusively based on
