Found a workaround: Its easy to disable normalize since it's a plugin.
Just chose Plugins from the Edit-Menu and clear checkbox beneath
Normalize. Now everything works fine - except normalizing of course ;)

I can't find any other report of this happening in Fedora, but I'm getting the
same thing using Fedora 10.
I'm using Firefox 3.0.7.
I find Firefox crashes a high proportion of times window.print() is called, but
not all.

I just adapted the patch to the latest development branch and sent it
for review.
@Loïc: can we backport the patch to elisa 0.3.5 in hardy as explained by
Zooko, and to elisa 0.5.9 in intrepid (and actually include the patch in
elisa 0.5.28 in jaunty too)?

Actually that 0.1 - 1.0.18 upgrade does tell us something.
Did you do this upgrade using apt-get? Or do-release-upgade, while
Ubuntu 8.10 was still not released?
lanscape-client-0.1 was a placeholder package, not really containing any
files. The do-release-upgrade program was at some point

Hi all,
I've been hit with this bug also, and I've found a relatively reliable
way to reproduce it.
- desktop system mounts /home/ with nfs4
- login with gdm, start firefox and do some browsing, by entering some
urls in the location bar
- issue some find /home commands
- unplug the network
