using Konquerer with the KHTML backend, the animated GIFs don't animate,

It seemed to be the UsePAM setting that made it.
When UsePAM is returned to the default 'yes' everything is fine.

without knowing why.

I can get to manual partition by clicking "go back" then "forward" but
if I click "back" on the manual partition then it pops up the same
window about /dev/sdb again... I have to click on "go back" on that
window to go back to the previous screen. Attached is a screen shot.

But hitting "back" on manual partition screen pops up the window in a
loop, I have to hit "Quit" and quit the install process or it will loop
endlessly.

Same thing happened to me when I use kdesvn-build to build KDE SVN.
Usually it truncates the .svn/entries file just like what has been
reported before:

The original intent of the ubuntu-release-notes project was for tracking
bugs that need to be documented in the actual final release notes, not
for the technical overview. It seems this time around we're using it

I think what will probably need to happen is for OOo to remove the icons
from gnome-icon-theme which is what I will be doing and then gnome-icon-
theme or human whichever needs to override them with whatever it wants
to use, probably using symlinks in their own theme.
