1. The vertical size of the menu items is too big, we need to scroll too
much to get to the required menu item and its awkward that no options
are given in the options to set their size.
2. Each menu item has to associated entries: Name and Description.

In the interim it seems reasonable to also prevent these false
positives. When the system is being shutdown normally we know that
there cannot be a suspend/hibernate in progress. Should we find an
onging suspend/resume indicated we know its is a false indication and

I've verified that /etc/mtab correctly encodes a mount option that
contains spaces, but it seems that /proc/mounts does not. /proc/mounts
does encode a mount point or device with spaces so it would seem logical
the same encoding could be used for mount options.

Thanks for your help. It's still odd - that device path exists on my
other system. Both systems have the same CPU (Q6600), though my other
system runs Mandriva 2009.0. I haven't done anything special in the
BIOS other than the defaults.

I can also confirm this bug. HP psc 1210.
The behaviour I experience is a little bit different. Instead of showing an
error, it just says 'Job completed'.
On the printerdialog it looks like it is is printing all the pages, but just
very fast, and nothing comes out of the printer.

I can confirm this, I can't install libavcodec-dev. When i try it, I get

I've got the same problem. With "noapic acpi=off nolapic" options gdm is
able to start, but I've noticed that if I log out or press Ctrl-Alt-
Backspace, then X is not able to restore itself and the blank black
screens comes back again. Also, on my computer these options make the
Console Terminal 1-
(p.s. when the black screen comes up, my monitor actually turns it's led
from orange to green, and it seems that it thinks that there is a
signal.)
