I have ATI 4870 card. I installed fglrx three times using "system -
administration - hardware drivers".
Each time it broke my system and I had to use "apt-get remove --purge
xorg-driver-fglrx" to remove it so I could boot up.

With reference to Alex F's comment, I can confirm that the behaviour of
switchscreen is a red herring. The breakage of XTestFakeMotionEvent()
occured before the behaviour reported in this bug, on my system (Jaunty
since alpha 4)
Alex F, I have modified switchscreen such that it works on my system,
I can confirm the bluez-compat workaround. However, this is not
satisfactory as the keyboard has to be set in discoverable mode and the
hidd --search has to be done after each reboot. This is not a practical
solution, as the BT keyboard is my main.
Another workaround is to download the bluez packa

Thinkpad X60. I have another setup with a logitech wireless keyboard and
volume control keys on that have the expected behavior, they change the
volume and OSD stays in sync with it.

Upon booting 9.04 Jaunty on my netbook (Intel Atom N270 @ 1.66GHz) the
system is using the ondemand governor, and is running at 800Mhz.
There's virtually nothing I can do to the system to get it to use a

I just tried this in the released Jaunty, and while the link above still
crashes the nspluginviewer, it no longer is fixed if firefox is
installed. I should note that there is no problem viewing that page in
firefox. Accordingly, I have changed the title to reflect that this is
an ordinary crash.
They have released a new version 0.9.10. We must have the newest version
when playing online. That should be packed quickly.
