albeit the AHCI-mode enables the use of Native Command Queueing (NCQ)
for some mainboards, I somehow doubt that this has to do with the USB
issue. Especially because of the "swapping" you reported which IMO has

Using the fix suggested by Douglas the HVR 4000 is recording from
DVB-S/DVB-S2 but live TV showed two identical screens one above the
other on live view until I changed the default views.
Still can't see the DVB-T tuner on this card.
Is there a fix for this yet and the correct drivers for the car

There is only one problem - at least on my PC - and that is video
playback. When I tried to resize window with video, computer froze. You
can solve this by setting video output to X11 rather than default in VLC
(if you use VLC)...

I'm using Audacious right now, and with the proposed kernel, the
default-fragment-size-msec = 5, and resample-method = trivial, I just
got a long (5 second) period of crackling/stuttering, followed by the
music coming back and then stopping. Audacious itself was stopped, so
I'm not sure exactly wha

Okay, I think you will need to be a little more simplistic with me when
giving terminal commands since neither of the above worked either on
their own or with sudo in front of them.
Also, I am still running 8.04 as I cannot go any further in the update
process since it cannot locate the repositori
