I am having the same issue with my new Blue Snowflake mic on Ubuntu

Rhythmbox uses gstreamer for visualisation and therefore can't use any
openGL-based visualisations :(
This is an upstream problem, gstreamer needs fixing, and/or libvisual
using directly in rhythmbox, as amarok does, and/or projectm-pulse
packaging, so we can at least fire up projectm standalone!
I can confirm, this is still an issue in ubuntu 9.04.
the required packages can be downloaded from the debian-sid online
repos. but theres a lot of other packages that 'ogre' depends on, that

I just realized what probably caused this bug, given its recent
occurance. Per a workaround in bug #345542, I changed BusType to
PCI in xorg.conf in order to get DRI working. It doesn't seem like
this should cause X to crash, though.

I've been able to solve this in Intrepid, though it's not fixed out of
the box.
A fresh install of Intrepid on the C600 fails to detect the screen
resolutions properly, and runs at 800x600. This is filed as bug #284309.
In this state, the suspend problem still exists. After configuring X to

freeze; keyboard wouldn't even respond. After rebooting, I encountered this
bug in firefox.
I ran firefox as root, and was prompted to restore my previous session.

appear to be errors, all appear to occur when mysqld starts, none occurred when

On a suggestion from the #unichrome mailing list (where openchrome is
discussed) I tried to run xine -V xxmc on a DVD.
This worked wonderfully, so aparently it is not openchrome XvMC that is the
problem here.

Evolution hangs unpredictably, ranging from a few minutes after start up, to
upto a few hours. This frequently manifests when replying to email. Attempting
to restart Evolution after the hang fails; the application will not start up.

plasma. It happens very frequently if I am in the plasma dashboard.
Otherwise it might happen when I click on a plasma panel.
