From what I understand, gnome-screensaver activates on lack of keyboard,

The problem is related to the script /lib/udev/ltspfs_entry that doesn't
use the right XAUTHORITY and DISPLAY variables. If those variables are
set appropriately, ltspfsmounter behaves correctly.
There is a small patch to show where the problem is, and few issues we
should think about.

i update to kernel 2.6.30-rc6 on Debian, and bluez 4.34-0exp1 and now i

I have been experiencing the same issue since switching to the radeon
driver recently (when I upgraded to Jaunty). Using a Thinkpad T60 w/
X1400 mobility chipset, the built-in screen, and an external LCD
monitor.
I get the flicker on both screens, always bounded around the cursor. The
upper-left
