with kernel 2.6.30-10-generic and pulseaudio 0.9.15. I have a webcam
with built-in microphone and an Intel HDA ATI SB.
When running pulseaudio from the command line, and then testing the

2D acceleration (DRI) does not work either on the AMD 780G-Chipset
(Radeon HD 3200 based). Xorg complains about DRI not being loaded, the
following error messages appear in the kernel log:

want for packaging, i'll take your package source as new base for my PPA
for development releases.

I would like to point out that blacklisting the garmin_gps kernel module

I am still convinced that until there is a reliable way to detect
packages that are safe to remove (and solve the halting problem), toning
down the wording such that people will (again) remove packages they want

I've just installed Karmic Koala and updated everything offered in the
partial upgrade. One upgrade was to grub2 (or it is grub-pc?). This
upgrade asked me which drives I wanted to make bootable, I selected
nothing as I don't like GRUB messing up

patch alsa 1.0.19 and see if just re doing it got sound working again
but does anyone see any benefit in just trying the already patched
1.0.20?

Jesse, I have checked your problem and the files gets broken already by
the pdftopdf filter which is used before pdftops is called. So the
replacement of pdftops will not have caused this problem.
The pdftopdf problem I have reported to the author of the filter.
