Funny, after copying the mentioned DVD on the 32 bit system, I tried
another DVD on it and now it brings up the same complaint.
I forgot before to attach the screenshot. Here is the one from the 32

I've found a workaround.
As the -d output suggests, the problem is with the XMPP library, which
I am not using (I'm only using MSN and ICQ). I renamed
/usr/lib/purple-2/libxmpp.so to libxmpp.no and now Pidgin starts
successfully.

Just confirming that I have the problem on 9.04, 2.6.28-13-generic -
2.6.28-11-generic works fine. I was hoping the KVM update that just got
pushed fixed the problem, but no go.

It it an issue in Jaunty. The problem is in the kernel, I have crypt-
fs... during BIOS it's ok but under kernel (type password for sda-
crypt...) the keys are swaped. Same result with Jaunty. My bets guess is
that Apple Keyboard patch. But since it's just this model affected

I'm using gscan2pdf with an HP OfficeJet 5500 (a simple apport hook
would be nice to include this information automatically).
I see the following behavior when scanning documents using gscan2pdf:
1. Scan page 1
2. Result: Error importing

flatbed, and I place it at the zero corner (as physically marked on

I have the same problem - delay for 2+ seconds at maximizing/restoring a window
when compiz is enabled (video card - Radeon HD 3850 and OS - Jaunty x86_64). I
tried different drivers: from repositories, 9.5 and 9.6 - all of them the same
problem. Probably this is a problem with the cards of ATI
It works with VLC 1.0 from the PPA.
