I wasn't able to get it to work, but I did discover a useful and
effective workaround using azap (or tzap/szap/czap if you don't tune to
ATSC channels).
Use {a,z,c,s}zap to tune to the desired channel listed in channels.conf.

I've just installed a clean system and am having the same issue on an

Besides i've never find the Nautilus Search UI to be intuitive. It's very hard

I find that certain program which write files to the desktop do not make
them immediately available. This affects programs like file-roller and
gnome-screenshot. I have to open a window, go to the desktop and click
refresh to see the files.
