i have just installed the new human-icon-theme version 0.34 which came with
updates today (September 1st).
There icon for the toggle (between text and button location bar) was made
smaller. So the button needy less space.
So this issue is fixed with human-theme, but still is present with other

OpenOffice.org don't show icons when dark theme in Ubuntu 9.04
IMO pressing M1+M3 is asking for screen shots (like the print screen
key).
But I agree that a configuration option should allow disabling the M1+M3
keys. I'll investigate this.
Note that newer Debian revisions create the file in a more safe (and

Auto updated to kernel 2.6.28-15 (ubuntu remix) on my Asus eee 1000 today. The

[karmic] Unable to logout/reboot/shutdown from within KDE

Can't reboot and shutdown Kubuntu KDE 4.2.98 and 4.3.00
Today I auto updated to kernel 2.6.28-15 and also allowed the bluez updates to
4.32-Oubuntu4.1. After the update I rebooted once and fully shut down and
brought the pc back up. The blue tooth MS 5000 mouse paired automatically both
times. It looks like this issue has been resolved.

Lock screen issue:
when locked, if you try to enter password and it enter, it does NOTHING.
Solution:
-rwxr-sr-x 1 root shadow 30272 2009-03-21 10:33 /sbin/unix_chkpwd
so adding shadow group to current user it worked for me.
