Well, why couldn't the ubiquity-frontend-gtk package add the ubiquity-
gtk icon in the icon theme and link to it? Other frontend packages can
fix it later independently, and people using the GTK frontend will be
able to customize the icon without forking the frontend.

Based on my previous comment I have found a work around. I built Python
2.6.2 and made sure that the Tkinter module used Tcl/Tk 8.4. I had to
modify setup.py in the python source before I built python. There is a

I've not been able to make a successful call yet. When I launch Ekiga, I

I had a similar situation. "mplayer -ao oss " worked, but "-ao alsa" or
"pulse" just left mplayer hanging there. I removed .pulse, killall'd
pulse and restarted the daemon. Then it worked again.
I saved the .pulse folder, attached.

9.10 Alpha release? ISO CD images are available at
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/karmic/ . If the issue remains with
Karmic it would be great to then also test the latest upstream mainline

I tested this, and it seems to work as expected. Do not be frightened
that your desktop sharing is still being advertised on your network and
is picked up by vinaigre (vnc client). I believe this is avahi

Alistair John Strachan's most recent patch to abituguru3 fixes the issue
for me. So I don't consider it a bug any more, though it might not make
it into 2.6.31. But I don't think there's a reason to create a new bug
