I can confirm this bug.
However i cannot reply the question if this is reproducible in other
machines/configurations.
I havent tried with another mouse.
For a microsoft 1.1A USB, PS/2 compatible mouse.

doesn't unlock the screen properly.

are scaled down by about 15%.

I too am getting a terminal with a fair bit of text in it before Ubuntu
loads up the newer graphical boot interface (brown with the glowing
white line). It would be nice if this could be hidden somehow - in a

OK, so the question is more... what should be the default size ? Is the
10Gb default size inherited from some other requirement, like EC2 ?
My main gripe about it is that it seems to require a slightly 10Gb disk
allowance to run, so you need to pick the m1.xlarge size to run it.

Hi,
The problem is the same if you try to copy an image from Firefox into Open
Office Calc or Impress (but not with Writer).
