Karmic Koala Beta daily build 20091012 i386 Desktop demonstrates this

Thanks for the fix and it seems to work but it doesn't help in case of the
brightness keys because there doesn't seem to be a short cut function in KDE 4
for it or do I miss something?
It is possible to change brightness with the power management applet but it
doesn't have a key for it afaik.
The patch is too invasive (and not up to date) to land at this stage.

Cannot connect with Dell 5520 3G card
On Karmic Turning KMS don't solve. isn't working good, i get desktop background
and icons but i get mangled font...

I can confirm this problem with the latest Karmic package and that
creating /var/log/couchdb/0.10.0/ with global read/write/execute
permissions works as a temporary fix to the problem.
