Ok the previous patch had a silly typo, here's an updated version.
I've been able to reproduce this locally on an installation of karmic, and this
patch fixes it for me.
If someone can confirm I'll submit it upstream.

Just ran some updates on 9.10 beta and firefox crashed on first run with
this error. Error report did open with firefox afterwards but firefox is
running very slowly since beta install.

I just upgraded my karmic system to all the latest packages (including
PulseAudio and the stock Wine package) and my sound on WoW now works
fine using the ALSA wine output plugin. I no longer need Neil Wilson's

I'm actually still experiencing this bug on the latest karmic live cd
(even after an apt-get upgrade which only pulls in some ubiquity changes
anyway).

Cowon D2 may be very sensitive to a slight USB undervoltage. On one
machine it routinely disappears after mounting (on many distros), while

we only just now are experiencing because gstreamer used to always use
cdiocddasrc for cdda:// uris instead of gio/gvfs. However, if that were
the issue, then the cd importer should be unaffected since its hardcoded
