Running Lucid Alpha 2 x86-64 with all the updates (as of Feb 12, 2010
00:30 EST) I get the splash screen OK but also get the freeze if I hit
the Enter key after entering my password. I'm not sure if anyone else
here has this config, but I am running Lucid as a Guest OS under Virtual
Box on
I can confirm this bug. I thought it was because of
/usr/lib/gears/stub.js not detecting Prism (expecting a 3.5 version
string), so I fixed that and it still does not work, with a "No Local
Store Client Found" error.

This is an invalid bug, plain and simple..it has nothing to do with

Since '--list-nodes' is not reporting '10.55.55.4' as registered, my
guess is that the 'euca_conf --register-nodes 10.55.55.4' did not

You need to install pacakge "linux-backprts-alsa-karmic-generic".
Then the internal microphone will work.
I've tested this on my X301 and it works. It auto switches when
you plugin the microphone into the jack.
